A native of Wisconsin, Norma grew up in Mexico, and has adopted Arkansas as her home. She has worked as a translator for General Motors in Mexico, an English teacher to learners of all ages, and a financial assistant. Most recently, Norma owned a bakery and restaurant before joining the ministry team at Oakley Chapel. She believes we should always put our best foot forward, which she models daily. She feels blessed to work for such a caring family as Oakley Chapel. Married to her best friend, Enrique, they have three children. In her free time, she loves just being with her children and enjoying her family.
Bill is responsible for directing the Choir, leading blended worship and Youth Ministries. Bill was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and grew up in Owasso, Oklahoma in a loving family. His father was a Baptist minister and his mother was a schoolteacher. Music and drama are integral to his life, and Bill has been in Youth and Music ministry since graduating with a Bachelor of Music from the University of Arkansas.
Bill met his wife, Sunny, while at University, and they have been in ministry together for over 25 years. They have three boys and enjoy worshiping as a family. Bill shares: “I am determined to live my life to please God. I want nothing more from my work than to help you to have a deeper relationship with God. God loves you and there’s nothing you can do about it.”
Born in Fort Smith, Carrie has called Rogers home for over 20 years. She fell in love with the piano in grade school, and has performed and accompanied choirs ever since. She loves serving as Oakley’s pianist and accompanist for Sunday morning worship. Carrie earned her B.S. in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing from Texas Woman’s University, and leads information security technologists for Walmart. An avid Razorback fan, Carrie attends nearly every home game, and in the rest of her spare time, enjoys arts & crafts, scrap booking, and hanging with family and friends.
